After that, the members of the group broke up. They relocated from Los Angeles in 2002, when she was 25 seeking a break. As she searched for a band Brink was working in shops and also sang in coffee shops as well as bars. Brink met Chris Howorth, the band's currently a member, during an audition in the year following. Howorth declined her audition due to the fact that she was female. He quickly changed his attitude and thanked her after hearing her sing. The band was formed in the early part of Jeff Fabb and them, along with guitarist Blake Bunzel. Blake Bunzel, Josh Newell and Josh Bunzel were joined to the group. After two shows, the band changed its names in to In This Moment.
